On
the first floor of our comfortable,
newly erected house, we run a "Bed and Breakfast" with
just two cosy and clean rooms.

Both
rooms have a separate entrance – independent from the private area of our home.
Each room has a private bath with shower, sink and toilet, a parking space, walk-in
closet, in-floor heating, and much more.
Room 1 is equipped with a double bed.
Room 2 has besides the double bed a small pull-out couch.

Because of the massive floor, the rooms are - even in
hot
midsummer
days -
pleasantly cool.
All the
windows are provided with an insect screen.
Of course
the
windows and entrances of both rooms
face
to the
lake side.

The breakfast is almost always served
in the breakfast gazebo,
where you will be able to enjoy a marvellous view (this is, of course,
dependent from the weather),
and have your breakfast side on side with the bald eagle.

with the eagles nest, which is just 100 feet beside the B&B rooms. |

Normally, a "real" breakfast with eggs from our
own "happy" chicken, with bacon, toast, coffee or tea, orange juice, jam,
home-made bread, will be served.
However, special
arrangements are welcome. |

It is about 250 feet on this path from the B&B to our own shore –
along of a picturesque fresh-water biotope with a wide selection of
animals (Water birds, beaver, turtles, minnows,…) and woods to both sides
divide the Bed and Breakfast rooms and the beach. |
|
|
The cottage is located about
600
feet (200 m) right of this
path, along our shore of the Bras
d'Or Lake.
However,
there is no direct view.
The
B&B guest can of course use all leisure facilities e.g.: swimming, fishing,
bicycle, picnic table's, canoeing, ..
.
Also, we are offering additional
services like recommendation's for your tour's or the
arrangement of it e.g. to waterfall's, to salt mountain or a motor
boat ride to the Indian Island with stop at MacInnes Island, whale or bird
watching tours, deep sea fishing or what ever
you wish.
Let's talk about it. |

There
are several restaurants close by: Alice’s Restaurant, which is located in
Whycocomagh on Highway 105 under Swiss management; or the somewhat simpler
VIS
Restaurant, in Whycocomagh, open all year-round,
or the
the Smoke House for example, an impressive log cabin under German management.
If you are
interested in special activities, e.g. lessons in diving, kayaking or
horse riding, or to get tips for your excursion or for anything else,
please just ask for our support.
